Sweet spot in the centre, lowest power, highest control. The right choice for almost every beginner and most club players.
Teardrop
Sweet spot slightly higher, a balance of power and control. Good for improvers who have a reliable technique.
Diamond
Sweet spot high on the head, most power, least forgiving. Only worth it if you regularly finish points with the smash.
Weight Matters More
Most players are better served by getting the weight right — 355 to 370 grams for most adults — than by chasing a shape.
Balance
Head-heavy rackets add power and strain the elbow. Even balance is the safer default.
Core Softness
Soft EVA is kinder to the arm and easier to control. Hard EVA rewards fast swings only.
