The smash gives the point away when it is not on. The bandeja keeps you at the net.
The Motion
Side-on, contact out in front and slightly to the side, slice through the ball.
Where to Aim
Deep, cross-court, and low over the net. Push them back and hold your position.
Practice Cue
Aim to land it past the service line every time before you worry about pace.
